One of Kansas City's little known hideouts for retired heros.
My husband is crazy. It's 15 degrees outside, the man is hanging Christmas lights and singing Christmas carols. *head in hands*
We had a good weekend. Friday we went to see Transporter III. Good movie. Yes, it's cheesy. Yep, those stunts are impossible. IT'S A MOVIE! ENJOY IT FOR WHAT IT IS!!! Had dinner downtown. Love downtown. (Being a small town girl that was plopped into a big city, it's still very exciting!)
Saturday we went to Overland Park, Ks to pick up a piece of furniture I wanted. It was free with the card Paul got for purchasing an oriental area rug for part of my Christmas. It's a cute little oriental corner unit. (I have an asian motif in my livingroom) I will add script to it once Spring comes. I have to paint the rest of the furniture we got (some off freecycle, some from folks we knew) anyway. We decided on black. Believe me, some of the pieces will look brand new with some paint.
Paul also took us to the Elephant Bar in Overland Park. Huge restuarant. Very nice, though!
Paul should be home any minute. He's bringing dinner home so we can sit together, watch the new Batman movie and just relax.
